since I last updated you all.� Not much exciting going on.� I have been working a lot lately - not more than normal though (normal is 50+ hours a week...so it is alot). Work has had interesting and crappy amounts of politics, but the actual job is going well.� Classes are gearing up and so far we have had great classes come through.
The hubby is still working at the hotel downtown - but instead of being banquet chef, he has made a lateral move over to the Trattoria�restaurant.� Great move for him, it is less stressfull and the hours are more regular (too bad the days arenapos;t though - still donapos;t know when we are going to be able to have days off together). But so far it is a good change for�him. We are hoping to get away for our belated honeymoon later this winter (diving in Cosumel most likely).�
The "man cave" in the basement is nearly done - only have to hook up the drain and water to the sink (might be a while - the plumbers have quoted us about $5k for that - might have to save up for a while). We had a opening night avs hockey party to test out our bar and watching hockey on HD 50inch rocks Someday soon we will have the actual opening pirate party to open up our basement bar The next home projects include redoing both upstairs bathrooms, getting new carpet upstairs, maybe new flooring in the kitchen and baths and I would love to replace the crappy drop ceiling in the basement bathroom with one that is put in correctly. Lots to do - I am glad we have 30-50 years of earning pay years to do it all
That is about all that is going on here - getting ready for the cold days of winter - but I love the chilly but sunny days of fall and I am enjoying it. It has been 2 years since the hubby and I got married - a great warm fall day, outside by the pond with leaves falling around us, surrounded by loved ones-friends and family.
